It was finally sunny out so we went to get some flowers to plant. She reminded me to always stop n smell them and in some cases eat. She showed me which ones is edible.
We went to Brennan so she could gets us some cheese. Best cheese ever! They even had cheese aged 15 yrs but mine never lasts that long! So many cheeses...what's a rat to do!!
I went to work with ratmommy. She works at the athletic dept for the uw at Camp Randall. After she's going to show me some history. She's a chef so today I get to be like Remy and makes good things to eat!!!
Now display is da kinda job I like! I gots to make and v eat a blueberry waffle! She showed me the student dining hall and they were breakfast so she showed me how to make dis. Yum it's good
I gots to help make the salsa! We make 5 gallons cuz she said the people really like it alot. I tried it on a chip hehe when she wasn't looking.
Dis day just gets better and better! We gotta make cookies. Dis is a monster cookie I made by myself. She said I could eat it. It's got oats, m n m candies, nuts and mmmmm peanut butter!!! I told her to take some home for Mr. Pickles and me for storyvtime latter hehehe!
Now dis is a refrigerator! !!!I want one dis big at home!!! And all that cheese, fruit and veggies just waiting to be eaten. I don't think my whole family could eat dis much in a week but we could try ......
She took me on a tour and dis place is huge. We saw the Bistro, where students or anyone can order a healthy meal. Da girls working were very nice and told me I was cute and it was cool how I traveled to spread awareness for rat and animal rescues.
I got to see the grounds and data me sitting on one of the cannons. Dis place is historic. Before da civil war dis place was owned by da wisc ag society and da fair was held here. da war broke out it became the training grounds for more den 70,000 union troops. Captured confederate soldiers were housed here making madison home to the most northern confederate cemetery down the street. Da 1st stadium was built in 1913 but had to rebuild in 1915 due to da bleachers collapsing. It's the 4th oldest sports arena in the country. The 1st game was in 1917 against Minnesota for a thrilling 10 to 7 homecoming victory.
Dis is a statue of a badger. He was kinda scary but I saw a picture of Bucky Badger the mascot and he looked cool. Rat mommy said he was busy studying fir finals so we didn't get to meet.
Dis is da famous arch day built as a memorial to local men Dat died during the Civil War. It was built in 1912. Da marching band enters thru here on game days. Maybe I should come gits some edgamication and play in da band!
We went to the union but it was still closed for renovation. I still gots to go on da pier. Dis is a big lake called Mendota. Madison is built on an isthmus. Da other big lake is Monona. There are 2 smaller lakes Dat border madison too. Dats alot of water. We was going to see da capital and some other stuff like the tribute to Otis Redding who's plain went down in lake monona after a concert. Dis place is pretty cool. Wish we could gone for a boat ride!
We gotta go for dinner at Culvers. The chain started here and I gots a big cheeseburger and a turtle sundae. Luckily I didn't find no turtles in there but that custard was very good and I ate it almost up but I decided to save a little for my buddy mr. Pickles. He tanked me. I'm going to miss him but I hafta leave on my next adventure. She asked me to come visit after she moves. Mr. Pickles said I'm welcome and maybe next time he'll be big enough to give me a ride!
