Santa Teresa, NM  USA: October 2015

Well folks, I have arrived safely in New Mexico! Looking forward to some new adventures! Stay tuned!
Hello all! Well I had a wonderful rest after my travels to my new host! I slept so comfy in my blue jammies and sleeping bag last night! Today I'm home meeting new friends, starting with you know who!!! I'm told that I will be put to work tomorrow as an honorary firefighter/paramedic! I'm nervous, but Miss Dona says I will do just fine!! (I earned my firefighter gear from a previous host, so this should be fun!)
Still meeting friends! This one is called MeeLee ! She's sweet!
Squeee! Watching a scary movie with Miss Dona ! I'm all snuggly!
I'm artsy craftsy!! Helping Miss Dona with some Spoopy (that's how she says it) Halloweenie decorations! This is fun!
I'm ready to start my work day! Wish me luck!
Can I push any of these buttons?!
My ride!
Cardiology? Whew, this is tricky !
Traveling down the freeway with a great view!

Where am I?? I'll let you know soon!
High up in a firefighter training tower!
I got to ride in that big truck right below me! What a great adventure!
They set this van on fire and practice putting the fire out when they are trainees! Good practice for the real deal I'm told!
This is the firefighter training tower I went way up high in! It is named after a friend of Miss Dona's that passed away. She says he was an amazing firefighter!
Some photos from my 24 hour shift with Miss Dona! I got to ride in the fire truck, attend a class on cardiology, and even adventure high up in a fire training tower! Whew!! I'm safe and sound, and back home relaxing with a juice box!
We are fixing to get into our jammies and get snuggly with another scary movie! Just wanted to show off my handsome new pin and handy compass that Miss Dona purchased for me today! Stay tuned for pics on where we went after work today!! Here's a hint... It made my whiskers blow straight out, and my ears feel all funny!
Got to ride a tram car yesterday! What a view! From the top, you can see 3 states and 2 nations! Made my ears feel all funny!
I spy a rain shower!
We were 400 yards from the site of a B-36 crash that happened in 1953. Miss Dona says she has hiked to the actual site in the past, and it took about 6 hours.
Got to see the crew do a fire safety presentation for some school kiddos! They thanked us with a big ole plate of yummies! This job rocks !!
Look friends!! Miss Dona added a little me to her video game! She says that now, even though I have to continue my travels in a few days, I'll always be with her!! How fun!
Miss Dona made me my own bling! I love it! What do you think?
Well, my time with Miss Dona is coming to an end, and we are just chilling and thinking about another scary movie tonight! We were both a bit sad, and then she made me laugh, when she showed me this little statue. She said it's to remind her of one of the number one rules in firefighting.....If ever your head catches on fire, DON'T RUN!!! It just makes it worse!!
😂Thank you for the giggles, and the grand adventures Miss Dona. I hope to see you again some day...down the road.
