The Travelin’ Rat gathers personal information, such as first and last names, home addresses, and email addresses only when voluntarily submitted by you. If you make an online donation or purchase, personal information will be collected from you in order to process that donation or purchase. The information we collect is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes. It is the policy of The Travelin’ Rat not to sell or exchange its donor list with other organizations or disclose privileged information regarding donors or gifts to unauthorized parties.
Those that supply us with their telephone numbers online will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding requests they have placed. The Travelin’ Rat will never call you for solicitations nor give your phone number out.
If you supply us with your postal address you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address or acknowledgement of your donation. Donations are acknowledged both electronically and through a mailed card if a postal address was provided, in addition to first name and last initial being posted on our website thank you page.
Anyone who has donated items to our raffle or auction may be emailed for another like event. If you choose not to be contacted through email, please let us know by emailing thetravelinrat@gmail.com.
