Rescues: Need help spreading the word about a hoarding situation or transport, etc?
Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can get the word out to help you with a rat situation. Sometimes rescues are overwhelmed with a hoarding situation or something comes up and everyone is so busy rescuing that they just can't get the word out. We will post on social media, rat forums and boards, and email other rescues that take in rats around your country. Please email The Travelin' Rat and let us know the following info so we can spread the word for you (feel free to copy and paste to your email, then fill in the details):

Current Large-Scale Rescues:
Rescues struggle with overwhelming amounts of rats when dealing with a hoarder or when animals have been dumped in the wild and allowed to breed unchecked, for example. These rescues are in need of adopters, fosters, and donors. Many are willing to set up rats trains. If you are thinking about adopting, please consider helping in these situations.
